"Shepherd Moons"
by Enya
After the more exotic colors of WATERMARK, SHEPHERD MOONS moves back in the direction of Celtic themes, featuring a set of tunes that captures the mysticism of the Celts. However, being an Enya album, you know that the meat of the album is the artist's sublime vocals, which at times are frail and sweet and at others are multi-layered and breathy, giving the impression of a whispery choir. Highlights include: "Caribbean Blue", "Book of Days," "How Can I Keep from Singing" and the title track.
