07/01/09-Hello, and happy summer!! We will be open on July 4th fom 10:30-5:30 and everything in the store is 20% off (Sat. only). We just got a whole lot of new jewelry in, including Ayala Bar and Holly Yashi. In fact, we got so much Holly Yashi that we don't have room for it all in the case! Consiquently, we're having a sale: ALL HOLLY YASHI JEWELRY 20% OFF thru JULY!!!. That's right, even the new stuff!! It's all 20% off. (For those of you who aren't sure, Holly Yashi is the beautiful multi-colored metal niobium jewelry we have on display at the first counter case.) Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and those cute beaded strands are all on sale this month only!
Updates: We've also gotten in new stained glass! In the next month, we're expecting in a few new jewelry lines from Jeruselem. One we're particularly excited about is the Roman Glass line; lovely hand-crafted jewelry using 2000 year-old Roman glass from Israel... every piece is a one-of-a-kind treasure!

05/27/09- NEW ARRIVAL!!!!! Please welcome our newest employee, Orion! Found loitering around the smoke shop just on the other side of the parking lot from us, Orion was in desperate need of lodgings and employment. Half-starved and with a dirty face, we at Journey Home have taken him in and put him to work as a greeter. Feel free to say hello, but he's still a little shy so don't expect him to shake your hand. 01/31/09- Music pages are up! Now you can browse our music selection and listen to samples. We carry over 160 titles, so I'll be adding more over the next few weeks. We also have an entire page devoted to our top 10 selling titles for 2008, just in case you'd like some suggestions. Check it out!
We've also picked up a couple of new incense lines to replace the "Essential Essences" line we've chosen to discontinue. The new lines are "Triloka" and "Incense Works." Triloka offers a wide variety of herbal-scented incense, as well as Chakra scents designed to help open specific chakras in the body. Incense Work has a wonderful, mystical quality with strong, exotic scents like "vanilla amber" and "white lotus." We've also got Fred Sole back in stock finally, but the Copal is going fast! Come into the store and take a sniff, or order your favorites on the Incense Page.

11/01/08- Our aura photographer, Steven Cox, passed away yesterday morning. We will be sending our condolences and a donation to his family. Anyone who wishes to contribute can do so at the store; we have a box on the counter where everyone can leave notes or donations. We will present these to his wife at his memorial on December 6th, so be sure to come in by then. Stephen was one of the most positive and kind people we are pleased to have worked with, and he will be very much missed.
On a similar note, Journey Home is currenty looking for a new Aura photographer. You must have your own aura-imaging camera. Apply via email or in person.

10/04/08- AURA PHOTOGRAPHY HAS BEEN CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!! As many of you may know, Stephen has been battling cancer for a some time now. Unfortunately, his condition has deteriorated in recent weeks. We wish him all our love and appreciation, and we are very thankful for having known such an optimistic and kind spirit.
